Our Story
KREIDER Attorneys at Law opened its doors in the Spring of 2019 in Greensboro, North Carolina. From the start, we had one aim: legal representation that felt personal, strategic, and grounded in real experience. What began as a small practice serving clients across the Triad has grown into a focused team known for expert advocacy in family law, criminal defense, and civil matters.
Jonathan G. Kreider is the founding attorney and guiding voice of KREIDER Attorneys at Law. He launched the firm in 2019 after a meaningful chapter on the bench and years of courtroom experience.
Mr. Kreider was appointed as a District Court Judge by Governor Pat McCrory in 2015 to fill a vacancy in the 18th Judicial District (Guilford County). He served on the bench through 2018. During that time, Judge Kreider presided over dozens of trials involving DWI, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution. In preparation for this role, he invested in advanced continuing education in family law and financial statements, bringing even sharper lenses to his decisions as a judge.
This judicial background gives Jonathan a unique vantage point as your advocate today. He has walked in the shoes of the decision-maker. He knows how courtrooms operate, how opposing counsels think, and how clients need to be supported. In practice, he draws on that perspective to craft strategies that are practical, informed, and forward-looking.

How We Are Growing
KREIDER Law has expanded into a full-service law firm with attorneys who are equipped to fight for you in a variety of circumstances. Our attorneys have extensive experience in family law, criminal defense, construction litigation, personal injury, tax law, wills and estates, and more. Our support team is also expanding to offer personalized attention for your case and making sure all the details are taken care of. We currently have 13 team members, and we continue to grow quickly!
This growth created the need for more space, and we were honored to relocate to the historic John Marion Galloway house (1919) in 2025. We worked tirelessly to update and renovate the space, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. Please read more about this beautiful home here.
