JONATHAN G. KREIDER

JONATHAN G. KREIDER

OWNER and ATTORNEY

If your family, career, business, or freedom is on the line Mr. Kreider is who you want in your corner.  Mr. Kreider is a highly sought-after litigator who counts politicians, judges, doctors, and other attorneys among his clients. Mr. Kreider founded Kreider Attorneys at Law in 2019 after spending three years as a District Court Judge. Mr. Kreider practices in the areas of family law, criminal defense, personal injury, wrongful death, and professional licensure defense. Mr. Kreider also serves as a neutral and accepts appointments as a mediator and arbitrator.

Mr. Kreider was appointed to the bench by Governor Pat McCrory in 2015 to fill a vacancy on the court. He remained on the bench through 2018. During his time on the court, Judge Kreider presided over dozens of trials in the areas of DWI, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution. While serving on the bench, Judge Kreider sought extensive continuing education in family law. Judge Kreider completed the Advanced Family Law courses in Equitable Distribution at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Judge Kreider also attended the National Judicial College training in Financial Statements in order to further his expertise in business and accounting.

Mr. Kreider began his career defending insurance companies in personal injury cases. In this capacity, he gained extensive knowledge in the area of personal injury law and well as learning the tactics of insurance companies. After two years, Mr. Kreider wanted to use his expertise to assist injured people and he started his own practice where he focused on helping injured clients and representing criminal defendants. In 2021 he joined a regional law firm where he lead the firm’s civil litigation practice and opened the firm’s office in Greensboro, North Carolina. He served as the managing attorney of that law office until his appointment to the bench.

Mr. Kreider is actively involved with his community.  He serves on the board of directors for Revolution Academy, a Guilford County charter school, and the Children’s Law Center, a non-profit agency serving Triad children in high-conflict child custody cases.  He is a member of Grace Community Church in Greensboro.

Mr. Kreider lives in Greensboro with his wife, Kathryn. Together they enjoy outdoor pursuits, traveling to destinations near and far, and, their greatest adventure, raising two little boys.
